About me... I guess

I believe that everything in life constantly changes, light, nature, our memories... us, so if you are expecting a strong long statement about who I am and a definition of my art then prepare yourself for disappointment.

Vision

Every image I create comes from a particular place in my mind and it goes in the direction that inspiration takes me. I change, my art changes and that's the way I like it, I embrace playfulness and flexibility, trusting my instincts to  know when a creation is complete.

I'm always happy to share what inspires each piece and its meaning to me, but that - I believe - is a different exercise entirely. when experiencing art, it should speak for itself and be translated into a different language for every different mind.

Thank you for taking the time to read, I highly recommend connecting with your own thoughts, memories, dreams and lives when experiencing my (and any) art, you are very welcome to make it yours in your head or literally if you are a collector.

Bio

I’m a Bristol-based Chilean artist, blending my extensive 15-year experience as a professional photographer and videographer in the fashion and music industries with elements from those visual languages to craft self-expressive and explorative images. Recently, I turned my focus inward, embracing film photography and experimental darkroom techniques as my primary forms of expression.

Employing a variety of techniques, including Chromoskedasic Sabattier and Lith printing, along with combination prints and Mordançage, I embrace the constant flux of life—light, nature, memories, and ourselves—finding beauty in its fluidity. Each image originates from a specific place in my mind, evolving with inspiration, encouraging viewers to connect with their own thoughts, memories, dreams, and lives through my work.

My analogue pieces draw from the depths of grief, motherhood, gratitude, sisterhood, and identity. Using photography as a means of inner dialogue, I don't seek to convey a specific message but rather to create images that open a discussion with my past and future selves. I view our perception of time as more authentic than our concept of it, capturing emotional and intellectual states as snapshots for self-discovery and inner exploration.
