Gratitude

This is a project dedicated to nature as a source of life and inspiration. In my mind, the word inspiration has two minings, one is intellectual stimulation and the second one is gratitude. When we forget about all that we think we know about the world and let ourselves be in awe with the gift of life and nature, true inspiration appears to me. I indulge myself to embody this experience when I create images for this project. I use original positive film exposures framed in objects that can be placed close to a source of light because they require a special place or action to be observed. I work with various formats to capture these moments, 35mm, 6x6, 4x5 and 8x10 creating digital prints from regular 35mm film too, because when inspiration kicks you just follow.
